Type-B Drill Pipe Slips (Equiv. Woolley-B)
Type B drill pipe slip are in SHORT, LONG, X-LONG three styles. Type-B short for strings to 8,000 ft.,with 18 inserts and 12" gripping length; Type-B long for depth to 15,000 ft.,with 24 inserts and 16" gripping length; Type X-long for heavy load above 15,000ft.,with 24 inserts and 16" gripping length. They are designed and manufactured according to API Spec 7K.
